Students arrive on Sunday afternoon, after 4pm, in time for dinner at 7pm. During the first evening Lindsey will chat to you about the course and what you hope to achieve. You have the opportunity of six full days of art work - with some time off for relaxing, if you so wish.
Landscape Art Course in Textured mixed media/acrylics
at Little HenCefn
with Lindsey J Cole
As well as constructive guidance, Lindsey will interact with demonstrations throughout the duration of your stay, offering a thoroughly relaxed, fun and enjoyable experience. Students will work independently with step by step tuition available at every given opportunity.
The course is suitable for all abilities. This is a good opportunity to introduce textured surface into your paintings.
There is a break for lunch (kitchen facilities in the studio) and some afternoons there is the opportunity to visit some of the many historical, beautiful and inspirational places in the area when students are encouraged to take their sketch books and art materials. Alternatively, students are free to remain in the studio to continue their art work.
On the last evening, there is an exhibition of work achieved and a barbeque which is always a very informal and relaxed way to conclude the course.
You depart from Little HenCefn on Sunday or Wednesday morning, after breakfast.
After booking a place on the course, a list of materials will be sent out to each student. Work tables and chairs are available in the studio, but please bring an easel if you prefer.
